Flintshire Connects will be back on the road with the mobile library from August 25th 2026.
Flintshire Connects brings together Flintshire County Council, Job Centre Plus and other partner organisations, to deliver high quality customer focused services to the public and vulnerable individuals in our community that find it difficult to access services online or by phone.
From 1 July 2026 we have launched a new peripatetic operating model, bringing services to more people in more places across Flintshire. The new model combines:

The Tuesday mobile runs every week on a 3-week rota: Week 1 covers the South West route, Week 2 covers the North West route, and Week 3 the mobile library visits schools only with no Connects staff-supported stop.
The Thursday mobile runs the North Coast route on Week 2 only. On Week 1 and Week 3 the mobile library visits schools only and there is no Connects staff-supported stop.
At Flintshire Connects, you can speak to one of our trained Customer Service Advisors about a range of Council services, which include:

Our mobile service visits rural communities that previously had no Connects provision.
The mobile unit operates on a rolling 3-week rota. Please check the schedule below, or use the “Today’s open centres” tool above, to see which week and route applies to your nearest stop.
The Tuesday mobile service runs every Tuesday on a rolling 3-week rota, visiting communities in the south west and north west of the county.
Week 3: the mobile library visits schools only on Tuesdays — there is no Connects staff-supported stop that week. To confirm which week applies to a given Tuesday, please contact us or check the mobile library timetable.
The North Coast mobile service runs on Thursday Week 2 of the rolling 3-week rota only, visiting communities on the north coast of the county with Connects staff on board.
