Childcare Offer for Wales - 3 to 4 year old (30 hours)
The Childcare Offer provides 30 hours of government funded Early Education and childcare to the working parents of 3 to 4 year olds across Wales for 48 weeks per year.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR SEPTEMBER 2024
Children with the date of birth 01/09/2020- 31/08/2021 may be eligible for funding – the application can be found here:

Applications for January 2025 will open on the 23rd October 2024.
Children with dates of birth between 01/09/2021- 05/01/2022 may be eligible for funding.
Expansion of the Childcare Offer to eligible parents in education or training
A parent in education or training who meets the eligibility criteria would be able to access the Offer from the point at which their course commences:
Definition of a parent in education or training; a parent in education or training can be a parent who is either:
- Enrolled on a Higher Education (HE) undergraduate or postgraduate course that is at least 10 weeks in length. This includes courses delivered via distance learning.
- Enrolled on a course that is at least 10 weeks in length and which is delivered at a Further Education (FE) Institution. This includes courses delivered via distance learning
This application is for the Childcare Offer CHILDCARE HOURS ONLY- to apply for Early Entitlement or Nursery education for Wrexham and Denbighshire please contact your local authority.
