Chairman’s fundraising

The outgoing Chairman of Flintshire County Council, Councillor Peter Curtis and his Consort, Mrs Jenny Curtis, presented their chosen charities with cheques totalling £7,855 recently. Since being elected last May, Cllr Curtis has supported NEWCIS, Supporting Carers in the Community and St. Kentigern Hospice. Both charities received £3,500. Cllr Curtis presented representatives from the two charities with cheques of £3,500 each at County Hall in Mold, ending a successful year as chairman.
