The Childcare Offer for Wales’ national digital service is coming

This Autumn, the Childcare Offer for Wales will launch its new national digital service, making delivering the Offer even easier. 

It’s important that all childcare providers delivering the Childcare Offer for Wales register onto the new service this Autumn. This is because parents applying from November 2022 will do so through the national digital service, and payments for Childcare Offer hours provided for those children will only be made via the new service. We’ll let you know when it’s time to register for the national digital service, but in the meantime, 

Welsh Government will be providing the first of a short series of free training Live Events on the dates below. Providers only need to attend one of the three sessions available.

Online training videos will also be made available for providers who are unable to attend any of the sessions. 

Future Live Event training sessions will cover the following topics, and dates will be shared with you in the coming weeks: 

• How to confirm agreements with parents 
• How to claim payments.

Digital skills training

You can also access free, basic training to develop your digital skills via pre-recorded and live training sessions with Digital Communities Wales. You can access these here.
