Subsidence scheme - Boot Hill
Published: 28/02/2017
Flintshire County Council is preparing for improvement works to take place on
the A5026 at Boot Hill, Holywell, where the carriageway has deteriorated due to
local subsidence.
This is a significant reconstruction scheme that will require investment of
approximately £120k and the works are planned to take place in the summer of
2017 to limit the impact on commuters and the local schools.
Flintshire County Council Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environment,
Councillor Bernie Attridge, said:
“Local residents and those who use this route will be pleased that council
investment in the road network to this level is being used to improve this
crucial link between the coast road and Holywell.”
