Road closures at Queensferry

Flintshire County Council would like to inform local residents and businesses of its intention to close the circulatory carriageway on the above roundabout. The closure will allow the contractor to complete the final resurfacing works both safely and in as short a time possible and the roundabout will be closed overnight on Wednesday 4 May and again from the evening of Friday 6 May until Monday morning on 9 May. There will be signed diversion routes in place whilst the work is being carried out and details of the routes are available on the Flintshire County Council website from 28 April. The Council will be holding an information event on 28 April in order that residents and businesses in the area can find out more information about the closure and the alternative routes. Members of the project team will be available at the session to discuss the proposals and answer any individual questions on the proposals. This event will be at the Queensferry War Memorial Institute on 28 April 2016 from 1pm to 6pm. Local residents and businesses are all invited to attend. The Council apologises in advance for any delay and disruption the works may cause, however access to businesses and properties in the vicinity of the works will be maintained throughout the closure period.
