New Council Tax Scam

Flintshire County Council Trading Standards have been made aware of a new Council Tax scam.  

Residents have reported receiving a phone call claiming to be from Flintshire Council Tax saying that they have over paid their Council Tax by £2000 and to receive the refund they need to pay £170.  If you receive such a call put the phone down immediately, IT IS A SCAM.  If you have any concerns about your Council Tax please phone Flintshire County Council on 01352 704848.
