Free School Meal Update – Parents with reception age children

If your child (or children) has now started reception class and you have already applied for a free school meal, Flintshire County Council needs your bank account details to be able to make a secure direct payment of £19.50 per child for the two week phase return to school, 1 September to 11 September 2020. 

You will need to provide your child with a lunch or pay for a meal using the school’s preferred payment method on the days your child attends school during this period.   Your child will receive a free school meal from 14 September 2020.
