Re-opening your business safely
Published: 01/07/2020
As restrictions are eased on trading, businesses operators need to assess and manage the risks of COVID-19 to meet their responsibilities to keep themselves, staff and customers safe at this time.
This means doing everything reasonably practicable to identify and minimise any potential risks to staff and customers at your premises.
We would encourage all businesses to demonstrate to their workers and customers that they have properly assessed their risks and taken the appropriate measures to mitigate them. Welsh Government have produced guidance for retailers which is available at: https://gov.wales/retailers-coronavirus-workplace-guidance
Once you have completed the work to ensure your premises complies with Welsh Government guidance you can inform people by displaying a notice on your premises – downloadable from our website: https://www.flintshire.gov.uk/stay-covid-19-secure.
