Business support grants

The Council is now processing business rate cash grants for those eligible for Welsh Government support. The first batch of emergency cash grants will be paid to 800 Flintshire businesses (£10m value) from Monday, 6 April.  We have acted promptly to support our business community.

There are two grants schemes as follows: 

Grant 1 – Retail, leisure and hospitality businesses with a rateable value between £12,001 and £51,000 will receive a grant of £25,000.

Grant 2 – businesses which are currently eligible for Small Business Rates Relief with a rateable value up to £12,000 will receive a grant of £10,000.
