Success for workshop aimed at local small businesses

A total of 20 small businesses from across Flintshire took advantage of a free “How to manage a cashflow” workshop held at Beaufort Park Hotel recently.

The workshop was organised by Flintshire in Business in partnership with Business Wales. In the two hour session, delegates were taken through a cash flow scenario from Carol Williams and Clive Barnard from Business Wales.

The session included: 

• The importance of a weekly/daily cash flow
• How to understand the information of a cash flow
• Tips to increase cash coming into the account
• Funding solutions
• Discount invoicing
• Restructure debt

Carol Williams from Business Wales said:

“All businesses that attended appeared to thoroughly enjoy the event and found it extremely useful. We are looking forward to delivering more training events in partnership with Flintshire Council’s Business Development Team throughout 2020.”
