Flintshire County Council has introduced an account for residents and customers to enable them to access a number of services online.
If you would like to check when your bin will be collected or get the contact details for your local councillor on-line, the Council’s new My Account is just what you need and you can do it all at a time and place that suits you best.
It’s quick and easy to sign up. Go to flintshire.gov.uk/My-Account and register for My Account now!
Over the coming weeks and months the Council will be extending the services available to Flintshire residents through My Account and it will keep you posted as new things come on-line.
If you are a council house tenant you will be able to:
- see your rent balance and make payments on-line
- see and track progress of your reported repairs
- see your current applications
- see your account information, such as gas servicing dates and contact details
Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Corporate Management and Assets, Councillor Billy Mullin, said:
“My account will be your own personalised area of our website and you can track progress of any requests made online. You’ll be able to access council services 24 hours a day, from the comfort of your own home or on the move with your mobile device.
“By creating an online account, the information you provide will feed into a centralised system allowing us to process your request much quicker. This lets you see how we’re dealing with your request
“Don’t worry if you don’t want to access your council services in this way, you can still do things by phone or face to face at one of the Council’s Connects Centres.
“If you would like to have a go, but would like some help getting started, go along to one of the Council’s Connect Centres and they will be able to help set you up.”
