Lost Worlds artist residency

Local school children will be joining forces with a renowned artist and
jewellery designer to explore the theme of ‘Byd Coll…Lost Worlds’ through art.
Pupils from Ysgol Croes Atti, Flint, Ysgol Terrig Treuddyn and Ysgol Mornant
Picton Gwespyr will be working alongside Angela Evans as part of an artist
residency which will finish with an exhibition at Clwyd Theatr Cymru running
from 21 October – 18 November to showcase the artist’s and the pupils’ work.
Councillor Chris Bithell, Cabinet Member for Education said: “This is a
wonderful opportunity for pupils and teachers to work alongside a professional
artist and develop their skills. The project highlights the effectiveness of
schools working collaboratively to encourage pupils’ creativity.”
The scheme is funded by the Arts Council of Wales and Flintshire County Council.
