Buckley Connects to extend opening hours
Published: 28/09/2023
Buckley residents will soon be able to get help and support at the Connects Centre three days a week.
In June Councillor Billy Mullin, Cabinet Member for Governance and Corporate Services, gained approval from Cabinet to increase the opening hours and from October 2, the Centre at Buckley Library will be open on a Wednesday, as well as the current Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Connects Centres help the public and vulnerable individuals who might find it difficult to access services online or by phone. Residents can speak to a trained advisor and get support with a range of council services, including Council Tax, Universal Credit, Highways, Planning, digital support and more.
Councillor Mullin said: “Connects Centres are invaluable so I’m delighted that as of October 2, the Centre in Buckley is extending its opening hours. As a Council we are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible services to our residents and Connects allows us to do this.”
The opening hours from week commencing 2 October 2023 will be:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 9.00am - 4.30pm
Wednesday: 9.00am - 4.30pm
Thursday: 9.00am - 4.30pm
Friday: Closed
