A548 Chester Road, Flint – Carriageway Maintenance Works

To allow for surfacing works to be undertaken Chester Road, Flint will be closed from its junction with Queens Ave to the Church Street junction overnight for the following periods:

Sunday 25 November 19:00 to Monday 26 November 06:00

Monday 26 November 19:00 to Tuesday 27 November 06:00

Tuesday 27 November 19:00 to Wednesday 28 November 06:00

Wednesday 28 November 19:00 to Thursday 29 November 06:00

Thursday 29 November 19:00 to Friday 30 November 06:00

During this period in the daytime (06:01 to 18:59) Chester Road will return to normal two way traffic under a 10 mph speed restriction.

The one way system along Albert Avenue, Prince of Wales Avenue and Duke Street will be removed overnight Sunday and will remain off.

HGV’s will not be allowed past Croes Atti roundabout and will have to use the A55 during the closure hours.

Emergency vehicles will be allowed to enter the closure should they require access.

All junctions within the closure adjoining Chester Road will be closed. Traffic wanting to use Castle Dyke Street bridge over the railway will need to use Evans Street.

The closure will be in place to ensure the safety of the workforce engaged in this operation and highway users.
