Flintshire Healthy Schools & Primary School Games Association Celebration of Achievement

The celebration of achievement event will take place on Friday 13 July 2018
9.15am – 11.30am at Ysgol Gwynedd, Flint. The event will be hosted jointly by
with Flintshire’s Healthy Schools Scheme and Primary Schools Games Association.
Pupil representatives from a large number of primary schools within the county
will be attending to receive their awards presented to them by the Chair of
Flintshire County Council, Councillor Paul Cunningham and Claire Homard,
Interim Chief Officer for Education and Youth.
The Celebration event recognises schools achievement in the Healthy Schools
Scheme alongside sporting achievements of school teams and individuals across
several sports, which have taken place over the past year. Representatives from
four Secondary schools will also be joining the celebration this year.
Particular highlights of the event will be the presentation of the prestigious
National Quality Award for Healthy Schools to 2-3 schools at approximately
10.45am. This will be followed by the presentation of awards for the Most
Promising Male and Female Sports person and the Outstanding Contribution to
Sport in Flintshire award at approximately 10.55am.
