Bagillt, Llys Alun, Rhydymwyn and land at Sealand Avenue, Garden City.
Cllr. Aaron Shotton, Leader of the Council said;
“Over 200 council, social and affordable homes have been completed, are under
construction or have been agreed in principle since the Council’s ambitious
housing programme began. These developments are at the heart of our local urban
and rural communities and will contribute to their sustainability and provide
employment opportunities.
“I am confident that we will continue to build on our success so far and that
this council’s vision and ambition to provide 500 social and affordable homes
by 2020 will be realised.”
Cllr. Bernie Attridge, Cabinet Member for Housing said;
“This council’s determination and commitment to provide much-need high quality
social and affordable housing across Flintshire is underlined by the fantastic
progress made to date.
“As with previous schemes, local lettings policies will be developed by the
Council for each of the proposed schemes and we will ensure that the tenure and
property mix for each scheme reflects housing need within each community.”
