Disability Arts Cymru – Calling Flintshire Artists
Published: 06/09/2017
Are you an artist, maker or creative practitioner living and working in North
east Wales?
Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) is looking for artists, makers and creative
practitioners of all art forms who identify as disabled or have a long term
health condition to join us in becoming Disability Arts Cymru members in the
areas of Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham.
We meet bi-monthly in Theatr Clwyd, Mold, to share ideas and opportunities.
As an organisation, we are here to support you with your development as a
creative practitioner. You must be at least 16 years old, there is no upper age
limit and no membership fee for disabled individuals.
As a DAC member, you will get a regional officer to support you as an
individual artist, as well as an opportunity to enter our annual exhibition and
poetry competition, a listing in the artists’ gallery and you will receive the
“what’s on” weekly email digest.
For an informal conversation or if you would like any further information,
please contact Lowri-Mair Owen, Regional Officer North East Wales,
lowri@dacymru.com or 07910766774, otherwise visit the website at
www.disabilityartscymru.co.uk.
