Fire Service and Council to visit local residents

North Wales Fire Service and Flintshire County Council will be visiting blocks
of flats during August with the Fire Service Community Bus.
The aim of these events is to promote fire safety in the blocks and to answer
any concerns that the tenants may have in relation to fire safety.
The visits will take place as follows:

Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Bernie
Attridge, said:
“We have arranged these visits to reassure our tenants and answer any
questions. This is on top of the extensive work we have already carried out to
assure our residents that the buildings are safe. Fire officers and council
officers will be on hand to provide information on the measures we have in
place and to reassure residents of the commitment we have as a council to their
personal safety.”
