The Register Office will close at 3:30pm on Friday 22 December 2023 and a reduced level of service will operate until 9:30am on Tuesday 2 January 2024, opening as required for the registration of births, deaths and marriages.

- Flint: will be open between 9:00am and 4:30pm on Wednesday 27 December 2023 until Friday 29 December 2023.
- Buckley: will close at 4:30pm on Thursday 21 December 2023 until 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
- Mold: will close at 4:30pm on Friday 22 December 2023 until 9am on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
- Connah's Quay: will close at 4:30pm on Friday 22 December 2023 until 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
- Holywell: will close at 4:30pm on Friday 22 December 2023 until 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
There are no collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.

All household waste recycling centres will be open throughout the festive period except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
