Between November 2023 and December 2024, Flintshire County Council’s Regeneration team and Save the High Street ran the Flintshire Town Centre Support Programme which was a huge success. Save the High Street have delivered the programme to 3 full cohorts, benefitting over 50 businesses. The programme has supported businesses to develop new websites, create new ways to increase footfall and even expand into new markets.
SaveTheHighStreet.org launched in August 2016 with the release of a Manifesto that outlined a new vision for the high street and how it can be achieved together.
Today, SaveTheHighStreet.org is led by a passionate dedicated team, an Advisory Board of 200+ high street businesses and industry experts, a fast-growing community of Local Champions and dozens of other partners across both public and private sectors. Together they have supported over 25,000 local businesses in the UK.
As well as the intensive support programme training workshops were held which experts gave knowledge and guidance to Flintshire Businesses. Some of these included social media training, visual merchandising workshop and networking opportunity events.
Following this extensive support programme Flintshire County Council are still supporting Businesses in the County. The Regeneration team would like to keep Businesses informed of grant funding, events and offer that ongoing support. For further information get in touch at regeneration@flintshire.gov.uk
