LDP Examination
The Flintshire LDP will be the subject of Examination by an independent Planning Inspector. This page contains links to key information about the preparation for and operation of the Examination of the LDP and will be updated as and when necessary.
Appointed Inspector
Welsh Government have appointed a Lead Inspector Siân Worden BA MCD DipLH MRTPI and an Assistant Inspector Claire MacFarlane BSc(Hons) MSc MRTPI to conduct the Examination into the LDP.
Programme Officer
Kerry Trueman of Programme Officer Solutions Ltd has been appointed as Programme Officer. The role of the Programme Officer is to independently coordinate the administration of the Examination and to liaise between the Planning Inspector, the Local Authority and other interested parties for the duration of the Examination.

The Role of the Inspector
The role of the appointed Inspector is to carry out an independent assessment of the overall soundness of the LDP and that it satisfies the statutory requirements for its preparation. The Inspector’s role is not to improve the LDP but to make recommendations to ensure it is sound.
