Highway resurfacing programme - May 2017

Flintshire County Council is in the process of preparing its annual programme of carriageway resurfacing to improve the condition of the highway network, which will be carried out from May 2017. The County continually monitors road conditions to ensure the investment is best used for the long-term management of the highway network and, once the sites for treatment are confirmed, this information will be published on the Flintshire County Council website. Cabinet Member for Environment and Deputy Leader, Councillor Bernie Attridge, said: “The Council continues to ensure that substantial capital outlay in this crucial asset is made available. I am pleased to say that £0.8m has been allocated to the schemes in the coming financial year and that the residents of Flintshire will see this money being put to good use and will immediately see the benefits of these improvements.
