AdobeStock_53705917-consult waste.jpg#COPCymru is a chance to help shape Wales’ future. With a series of events taking place in Wales from 28 October until 26 November, we all have the opportunity to engage in important conversations about climate change and how our recovery from COVID-19 can be used to accelerate action and help Wales build a strong low-carbon economy.

North Wales will be holding its own event on 4 November themed on ‘energy transition’. Showcasing innovation, forward thinking, collaboration and community led projects - the virtual programme is action packed.

Led by presenter, Sian Lloyd, speakers from across the region will focus on the success and challenges of low carbon projects including hydrogen, marine energy and welsh science.

The Flintshire solar farms are great examples of real action being taken by local authorities, despite competing priorities, budget pressures, and a global pandemic - showing leadership and supporting grid decarbonisation.

The event will be broadcast live and registration and full breakdown of the events can be found by following the link https://freshwater.eventscase.com/EN/COPCymru21
