Flintshire comes out on top again

Flintshire County Council has the least number of former high school students not in education, employment or training (NEET) in Wales for the second year in a row. Figures released recently by Careers Wales show that only 1.3% of learners having completed Year 11 in 2015 were “NEET”. Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, Councillor Chris Bithell, said: “This is an excellent result and has been achieved by the targeted partnership working between schools, further education and work-based learning providers, the third sector and Flintshire County Council Education and Youth services.”
