Roadworks

Flintshire County Council has appointed Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd to carry out improvement works at the A541 Abermorddu and Hollybush Junctions.

As part of these improvement works we would like to make you aware of the resurfacing works along the A541, Wrexham Road, from Abermorddu Junction to the Flintshire/Wrexham border. Works will commence on Saturday evening, 5 June and continue until Monday morning, 14 June, however every effort will be made to complete this work sooner.

During this time the road leading through Cefn y Bedd, will be closed to all traffic between the 19:00 and 06:00, however access to properties and frontages within the closure area will be maintained throughout the works.

The road closure has been advertised in the local press and advanced warning signs are displayed at either end of the affected areas, diversions signs will also be in place and we respectfully request that these are adhered to.

Please be assured that the contractors will be adhering to the current COVID 19 guidelines and we will be asking  that members of the public respect the 2m social distancing rules and do not approach the workforce.
