benefit from the course at a subsidised cost of just £20. The course aims to
reduce the number of young people killed or seriously injured in road traffic
incidents and covers:
• The dangers of using a mobile phone whilst driving
• The dangers of drink and drugs while driving
• Heading off on the motorway
• Driving techniques and hazard awareness
• Getting around at night
• Coping with busy towns and cities
• Driving on rural country roads
Councillor Bernie Attridge, Flintshire County Councils Cabinet member for
Environment said: The aim of these courses is to achieve better driving skills
and reduce the risk of a collision or injuring yourself, friends and others. I
would encourage all new drivers of this age to take this opportunity and
participate in Pass Plus Cymru to learn new driving skills and keep safe.
The next course is on Monday 11 January starting at 6.30pm at Flintshire County
Councils Alltami Depot, Mold Road, Alltami . For more information, or to
