Daniel Owen Festival Visual Art Workshops

As part of the Daniel Owen Festival and to celebrate the Big Draw and Family
Arts Festival, Eleri Jones will be leading a family arts workshop at Mold
Library on Saturday 17 October.
The workshop, between 1.30 and 3.30pm is suitable for all ages and abilities
and will be using a variety of drawing and painting techniques to make artwork
based on the theme ‘Every Drawing Tells a Story’. The cost will be £2 per

Also, on Sunday 18 October, internationally renowned artist Emrys Williams,
will be leading a workshop exploring the medium of watercolour and water based
paints.
This workshop between 10 am and 4pm at St Marys Church Hall will cost £30 per
person and is aimed at all levels of experience from beginners to students and
artists.
The session will open up new ways of working with water based media in
intuitive ways exploring pictorial space and mixing up abstract and figurative
ways of working.
The artist will show examples of his own work in watercolour and water based
paints as an introduction to the practical session.
