Food Foraging Masterclass
Published: 28/09/2015
Flintshire residents will have the chance to forage for their dinner at a Wild
Woodland Foods Masterclass at Wepre Park, next month.
Flintshire County Council’s Arts, Culture and Events Team has organised the
masterclass led by experienced food forager Matt Normansell on Saturday 17
October between 10.30am-4pm.
Matt will lead the group on an adventure identifying some of the edible plants
that grow in abundance all around and which are sought out by the country’s top
chefs.
He says that people attend for various reasons. Some are survivalists, some
want natural nutritious food, some want free food, and some are just curious.
The event costs £30 and booking is required.
