Want to start your own business? Entrepreneur workshops come to Queensferry
Published: 21/05/2015
Budding entrepreneurs are being invited to attend three exciting entrepreneur
events in May and June, to help those with an ambition to start their own
business.
On Friday 29 May, and Friday 12 and 19 June, there will be a series of
workshops following on from each other at the John Summers Community Campus in
Queensferry, from 10am until 12 noon. The workshops are organised by
Communities First, and are free to attend.
Councillor Derek Butler, Cabinet Member for Economic Development said:
“Communities First works hard providing support and commitment to help local
people looking to start up in business.
“These practical workshops have been designed with young people aged 16 to 24
in mind, but they are welcome to all - we want to hear from anyone with an
idea, so come along and take advantage of the support that is on offer. Through
a series of activities, these workshops will enable attendees to develop and
refine their own business ideas, and to gain confidence.
