Mold Library and Museum

From Monday 1 September there will changes to the opening hours at Mold Library and Museum. The venue will be open later on Monday and Thursday evenings from 9.30am to 7pm and from 9.30am to 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The library and museum will continue to open from 9.30am to 3pm on Saturdays. Councillor Chris Bithell, Cabinet Member for Education said: “The change in opening hours is based on customer usage patterns and we are confident that the new hours will continue to offer library users and visitors to the museum convenient opening times.” Libraries across Flintshire have been busy over the summer with children taking part in the Mythical Maze, Summer Reading Challenge. Children participating at Mold Library are encouraged to complete the reading challenge by Saturday 13 September when the medals will be presented between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
